BUFFALO, NY (February 22, 2024) – NISA Nation announces Sahara Gunners FC will participate in the Upstate New York Region for the upcoming season.

Formed in Buffalo, N.Y., in 2021, Sahara Gunners FC was founded by Arkan Almadrhie and Kovan Dalil. The club reached the third round of regional qualifying for the 2023 Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup. 

"We are very excited to join NISA Nation," Dalil said. "Sahara Gunners FC has been blessed with great opportunities throughout our history and the NISA Nation National Championship would be an amazing addition to our legacy. We are ready and prepared to take on this challenge."

Sahara Gunners FC previously competed in the United Premier Soccer League.
